Is my monitor on its way out

Hi all

Over the past week my monitor has started up with this on the taskbar 1st pic. it only happens on a cold boot . Then after about 2 minutes it changes to this, 2nd pic then 3 minutes its ok. It is like it is warming up. It is only on the task bar at bottom off screen, changed pc and cables and 2 gpu's but still same, any ideas if its a problem

ok thanks guys, dont suppose there is anything I could do is there, wonder if it comes under warranty, its an acer and dont think i have had it for more than 2 years, will find the reciept and see

If it's not under warranty, check if you have anywhere around you anyone with some electronics knowledge. The thing about capacitors is that normally even the untrained eye can spot a bad one as it's normally bulging. Then it's a matter of buying a similar one, removing the bad one and soldering the new one in.

actually had it 2 and a half years so no warranty left. I have phoned around locally but no one wants to touch monitors so its either have a go my self or just wait for it to pack up all together. it goes back to normal after about 10 mins. Bit annoying as that monitor cost me £500 and its going **** up after 2.5 years off use, I like to get my moneys worth when paying £500 lol
