My monitor has over the past few months developed lines vertically and now horizontally across the display.
If I use a solid colour back ground (black being best) you can see block strips going both ways in varying brightness. Bands of contrast is the best way I can summarise really.
It's hardly visable unless against a busy or moving background but I guess that doesn't mean it's not there.
I don't know if I'm explaining it all too well and being a screen it's difficult to get a picture.
