is my Motherboard compatible with ocz ssd sata-3?

hey guys! new to the forum and gonna pick your brains to start with.

I have a Asus p5e3 Premium MB and looking to upgrade my hardrives as the price of SSD is slowing falling, i'm considering a OCZ Agility 3 240GB 2.5" SATA-3 Solid State Hard Drive (AGT3-25SAT3-240G) but im unsure if my motherboard is compatable with this hard drive? as it's sata-3? if not will sata-2 be compatible?

Its compatible, you will just max out the bandwidth the SATA-2 port can provide. But whne you upgrade the mobo, you will then experience another boost in SSD speed as it can use a SATA-3 port.
