Well as the topic says, I returned back from work yesterday to find my keyboard wire looked like it had been chewed through
, anyway I plugged in my old ps2 keyboard and it worked fine but later on I got a little curious and put insulating tape around the bitten wire and plugged my usb keyboard back in (Logitech Ultra-x) and suddenly my pc switched off. I switched it back on and it wouldn't even post the power light was on and the hdd activity light was a solid colour, so I tried reseeding my memory and graphics card but still the same thing. It just turns on and and nothing comes up on my monitor. I was advised by a friend of mine that basically the keyboard had shorted the motherboard and I should RMA it, so I did via the company I bought it from and they basically said it takes 4-6 weeks going through MSI ( MSI K9N Neo-F AM2). So I ordered a new one last night from Overclockers, Is it my motherboard that is actually borked or could any of my other components have gone with it?
