I have a Logitech MX518, bought it over a year ago and been very happy with it, just recently I have had a few issues .

Last week while playing COD4 my right click didn't work, at first i thought it was the server or the game that was playing up but today I was playing COD4 again and the mouse totally froze for about 50-60 seconds.

Checked all the connection etc..

Is it new mouse time for me?

If it is dodgey then just ring Logitech & they will send you a new one, They have the best after sales bar none.

(I would suspect user error before the MX518 though :p)

sounds like it to me see if it does it again if it does give em a ring ;) like the other guy said.

Yep give em a ring if it continues to play up, they have a great and novel replacement service, a while back a g7 mouse failed on me, emailed logitech support, they replied asking me to destroy the mouse and send them pics to prove this, done as they asked and received a new g5 mk2 a few days later.

Update: I rang logitech suppot and they were very helpfull, I was told due to the cost of the item that I didn't need to provide proof of purchase or break it and send an image to that affect.

They did how ever ask that when I've received my new replacement that I cut the cord of my defective MX518 and send it to them.

Do I really have to do this?
