Wondering if it is cos i can upgrade through my isp to adsl 2. i see the new firmware says... The ADSL driver has been updated to improve ADSL2+ interoperability.

So am pretty sure it is, remember its V2 though.

the v2 is adsl2 compatible just not 100% as it will only sync at teh max of 12mb but will give you 1.3 up if on adsl2+. This was my experience with the v2 on O2, using their supplied router but have used a trusty 834gt

thanks tipsy, so is it not worth me upgrading to adsl2 until i get a new router?

u can pick up very cheap sky branded dg834gt router from that famous auction for as little as £15 and all you do is flash them. Who is your current isp? and if you on sync at a low speed the current router would do.. free speed is always worth it.
