I took out my trusty 7900GS on Saturday and replaced it with my new 8800GT.
I took it out very carefully and when I went to install it in my wife's machine, I booted up and the initial screen that comes up with the GFX name/bios etc looked like a blood font. The bios screen had lines down it also
It booted up to the welcome screen of XP and just hang there.
I turned the machine off thinking it was a monitor issue and tried it in my daughters machine only to find the same happened again
Is it buggered?
