I got hit by a trojan which bypassed my Windows Firewall and it was making pop-ups all over the place. I managed to get rid of it using Malwarebyte's AntiMalware but I think my internet may still be running a tad slow so I think there may be some bad parts I missed.

Spybot, Ad-Aware and Malwarebyte's AntiMalware don't pick up anything during scans which is encouraging but my IE doesn't seem to be as quick as it used to be.

What can I do to check my browser is still not hacked?

The malware was Virtumonde by the way.
 
I have Nod32 which expired about a year ago but I think it still has live protection (just unable to update?) and Ad-Aware has some live protection running.
 
OK my browser is defo still hacked. When I was trying to get rid of Virtumonde, it wouldn't let me visit pages which helped with fixing Virtumonde. That is sorted now.

I now just googled a running process which I don't recall seeing before (aawtray.exe) and when I click on sites which contain information about it, I get redirected to crap like myspace and other dodgy sites.

Edit: same thing with jusched.exe

jusched.exe is Java and is fine.

But yeah, get a new A/V fast, Avast is free as is Avira and both are good.
 
I think you kind of asked for this by running Nod32 with a year old definition file...even the worst free AV would be better than that.

Get your AV updated ASAP and it might also be worth downloading and running Stinger.
 
Have you ran HijackThis also? (Sorry if already mentioned!). Also, maybes run Winsock fix. This can be ran after deleting a regkey or malware and may help connection problems, etc.
 
Run the virus scan in safe mode.

And, as mentioned, an up to date freeware AV is better than an out of date paid-for AV. Year old virus definitions are hardly worth having.
 
Get a new NOD32 license, upgrade to v4 software, update it then run in Safe Mode after removing System Restore and all temporary files.
 
Also run a online Bitdefender scan or online Asquered scan just to be on an even safer side .

Can anyone see anything suspicious?
 
Might be worth having a look at your host file as well - some malware edits that so you type in a trusted domain and then the host file points it at some random IP or 127.0.0.1.
