I have the bits in hand to rebuild my system. I have just bought...

Samsung SH-S223FBEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM

2x Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB)

Asus P5E Intel X38 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Pioneer DVR-215DBK 20x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM

Antec Twelve Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case which will have 6 fans in use.

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB ATA-100 16MB Cache - OEM

Also going into it will be one maybe two more satas drives and a 6800GT, which will be swapped out very soon for a 8800GT.

I have 4 usb devices plugged in.

The power supply in my current pc is an enermax liberty 500w.

I'm hoping that is going to be large enough, if not when I do order the new gfx card I will tag a power supply on the order.

I'd side with the yes camp TBH. Enermax is a good make of PSU and shouldn't really struggle to power your spec.
