Is my processor a bottleneck?

Ok first of all, my sig is in my spec...

Now, when i play Metro on DX 10, High settings, on 1920 x 1080 i can get some horrible framerates when in firefights (I am talking 15 fps) And when i play Assassin Creed 1 on max, it gets some poor frames too. I am wondering why this is, as my graphic card isn't the problem. Is it my processor? It's not overclocked.

To be honest, lowering to medium doesnt make a difference

I don't know how to OC...So i can OC it to 3 ghz with the standard stock cooler? That sounds like a plan! Any guides on how to increase the FSB?

Would ocing to 2.8 ghz with stock cooler be ok? Or should i get a new cooler?

Well i have put it to 2.8 and i have seen a nice boost on Metro, and especially BC2...Quite a large difference too.

Temps are:

CPU - 50 degrees
Mobo - 38 degrees

How are these temps? Good? Bad?
