Is my PSU Dead?

Im getting no motherboard light but i do get a light on the PSU switch at the back..ive tried the paper clip test and ive had no luck..at a cross roads..do i buy another PSU or start building a new PC to replace the old one!

Whats the rest of your system like? Also, whats the PSU and how old is it

Have you checked the PSU with a multimeter?
