PC in sig was gaming fine yesterday. Today it will not start, no fans nothing. Tried different power cables, psu failed paper clip test. Any other ideas or just buy a new psu? (I put my spare psu in my brother's pc like 3 weeks ago, Doh).

Cheers.

Also can anyone spec a new psu? At least 750 W. Rock solid reliability for gaming and possibly Xfire in future?

What are Antec psu's like now? Previous one was perfect and still going apparently.

How old is the Corsair PSU?

According to this

http://www.corsair.com/support/

The HX620 has a 5 year Warranty with Corsair.

You'll need to RMA it to them if its still under warranty, 1st thing to do is go here.

All you need to tell them is when & what Uk retailer you bought it from, you once your RMA is authorised by them you'll need to send it to their RMA depot in Holland

(costs about 20-25 quid) I used interparcel to return mine.

You'll probably get a HX650 in its place if they confirm its faulty (I did)

there is a member on here called yellowbeard who works for corsair support,
i would drop him a trust message. ;)
also agree, the corsair psu's have a 5 year warranty, give it a try

Ok cool thanks. I read rma instructions and they don't mention cables, do I have to send back all the cords and cables?

No way!

No way! Halftime Liverpool game I tried a different paper clip and the psu works! But it's going into an infinite reboot cycle, fans spin up, lights etc. but no picture on monitor and after 30 seconds or so it switched off and on again. When I had that before it was a mobo problem is that it? As psu seems to work now
