Is my PSU powerful enough

Hi,

Sorry for yet another of these threads, but trying to figure out if I need a new PSU before my new stuff arrives. I currently have a TAGAN 480W. This is what will go in the new system:

AMD X2 4600
4x512 Corsair XMS3200C2 Pro
X1800 XT
2x74Gb Raptos in RAID 0
1xBarracuda 7200.9 160GB (SATA)
2xPioneer DVD Writers (109 and 105)
Soundblaster Live Card

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I see no problem with that, I have a 530W Tagan but I don't think i'm using it anywhere near it's limits.

Thanks for the reply: I was using http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine to determine the requirements, but like a muppet I put in system type = dual processors because it was dual core. It was above the 480 I have. Now I add it as single processor it hits about 385W, which is easily enough.

Should be absolutely fine, it is a good PSU and unless you are overclocking massively I doubt there will be any problems. You may need a 20-24pin adapter for the motherboard and possibly a 4-6pin adapter for the graphics card if the PSU doesn't have them.

Cheers, I checked last night for the 6 pin connector and it has one and I'm pretty sure it has the 24pin power connector. Looks like I'm set, then.
