Is my PSU powerful enough

I am looking at upgrading my Graphics Card to either a X1900xt or a 7950gt
and I am not sure whether my PSU has enough steam for the job
I have a Antec Neopower 480 watt is this good enough

It might depend partly what else you have running off the PSU but assuming the normal basics for a PC (e.g. motherboard, CPU, Ram, a couple of hard drives and an optical drive) then you should be fine.

yeah should be, most recent spec machines run between 200w and 300w although we still used to put 400-500w PSUs in them to reduce the load level to be on the safe side.
