I have a Corsair CX750 PSU, which I have had for a little over 5 years now. In January I upgraded my PC to a 9600k and RTX2070. I'm not certain but I may have had this issue with my old system but only started to notice this shortly after upgrading. I started to experience frequent intermittent system freezes with whatever audio the PC was making halting and staying constant.
These freezes seem to happen randomly and certainly not when the PC is under any heavy load. It will also freeze while completely idle. I do leave my PC on most of the time and it will sometimes have an uptime of a few days or weeks but will eventually freeze and need a hard reset.
Just curious to whether anyone here thinks this may be caused by my ageing PSU?
I've done full disk scans, memtests etc and all come up fine.
