I have an Antec 350w Smart power PSU and it currently running a 3Ghz P4 478, 6600GT, 2 hard drives, 2 optical drives without problems but i'm thinking about overclocking the gfx card and cpu i know the 350w is more than likey on the borderline but how can i tell how far i can push it, what should i be looking for?

any ideas?

I think you are right about being borderline, there is no surefire way to tell, PSU calculators might give a rough idea but I'd be more inclined to check your voltage rails in a hardware monitoring program such as motherboard monitor. If there are any significant fluctuations then you are probably overloading your PSU.

thanks for the advice.

I'm now running the 3Ghz P4 at 3.2Ghz and i've overclocked the graphics cardaround 10%, Have monitored the voltages while benchmarking and gaming and they seem to be very stable.
