I'm getting these temps:

62
61
59
57

I haven't OC'd yeah and i'm using the stock cooler.

Should there be that big of a difference between Core 0 and Core 3? [5 Degrees]

Thanks,

Joe.

I would even try to OC with the stock cooler with a Q6600 tbh the temps are high, get yourself a aftermarket cooler and put it through its paces :)

5c isn't too bad. It's when there's nearly a double-digit difference that you start worrying.

Yeah i wasn't planning to OC Yet until i got a new cooler. Are those temps really high? I only left it on prime for like 30mins.

@ Cob, Thanks man :P just checking, As i have a Akasa Evo i could fit bit it requires taking out the motherboard which is a pain, So is it needed?

The temps are fine if you aren't overclocking yet.

But you will need a better one if you do decide to crank it up.

No :P I left it with Prime Stressing all cores for around 30mins.

:D Going to say haven’t kept up much with the Q's I thought they ran hot at idle but not that much :p

OT/ Hopefully this weekish I may have a QX6700 what temps do these beast idle/load at?

Thanks.

Why not get the Q6600 and save yourself the money? I've heard these clock to 3.6>3.8

Getting a good deal in the members market :), I need to get back into the hardware scene and this chip should be ideal, just need to find a decent mobo now that will clock it well.
