I'm running a Q6600 on an abit ip35 motherboard. It's running the latest bios (15). This is what is displayed in the POST.

All settings are set to default in the bios and as you can see it's set to 272x9 but I was told it's supposed to be 266x9. And how come the memory is showing as DDR 816? I'm not looking to overclock and I'm only using the standard intel cooler.

i think some setting to auto-overclock by a litle bit is on or something...
i assume its ddr 400/800 and itll be oc'ing for some reason to 408/816, and 266 fsb auto-overclocking to 272... should be harmless.

Yeah it's a automatic overclock.. think manufacter's do it to give there boards a boost in benchmarks over totally stock clocked boards.
