Help!!!

after shaking my pc a bit to get bubbles out of water cooling system, later when i came to turn on it did no beeps and didnt post! I have specs as on my signature. On the lcd it says cpu init for a while then it flashes once back onto cpu init. Does that mean either cpu bust, or mobo, or that cpu init is fine but it cant do the next thing after that!

Is this a new build!
Couple of things to try: Make sure all electrical connections are made including the 4 or 8 pin for the cpu.
Reset the CMOS, and try only one stick of memory.

Rob

no not a new build had been working fine, reset cmos, ill check again but i think all cables are in, tried 1 stick of memory,

Btw, i had been having problems with this board and memory, A1 and A2 didnt work?
Anyway

ye but it was one of those gentle watercooling getting of a bubble sort of shake,

If it says cpu innit does that mean it is definately not to do with something like the gpu.

BTW, the graphics card normally is loud when you first turn it on then goes quiet when it posts, it still goes quiet as if it posted

when i had my striker i had a nighmare getting past the cpu init thingy, then I moved house and after a week my mobo completely died, according to the guy in the shop where I got my new mobo (maximus formula) the strikers don't like being moved. Should really rma it.

Anyone know the rma process for asus? checked out their site but was less than usefull

my 1st Striker ate the memory (sorted under RMA) then sold the m/b and
upgraded to a maximus formula SE. that failed and was rma'd. my spare 'get you by till the MF came back' Striker has just started the cpu init loop.
Not very impressed with Asus reliability.

I have a new maximus Formula waiting to get built, dreading it being another brick

i said had the same problem

i sent mine back to overclockers start of this week via RMA

there busy testing it now and hopefully i should get a replacement

ip35 pro board and same cpu as u :O

give overclockers a ring and see if they have any alternatives
