is my shuttle a V1 or V2 and a drivers qestion!

sorry for a noob qestion but just wondering how i find out of my sn68ptg5 is a v1 or v2 as i left the box at work and can’t see anything in the paperwork.

also looking at the drivers on the shuttle site, do i need to upgrade any of mine or flash the bios? can’t seem to see what i have and what i might need

Had a look at the nForce driver pack direct from nVidia. Release for both XP and Vista was 3rd May 2007. So probably got that version included on the Shuttle driver CD.

Audio is probably best direct from Realtek, as they regularly update drivers.

If it's a new barebones, it might be worth while flashing the BIOS. At least then if it fails you can return it for a quicker turn around. As normally after a certain time period the retailer resorts to sending items back to the manufacturer for repair, hence a long delay.
