Is my Sky Box Knackered?

I have normal Sky, had the same box for about 3 1/2 years, a while ago it decided that on a lot of channels (most of my favourites) that "No Satelite Signal is being received".

I done a full reset, it has updated to the new Guide thing and channels that are available are fine.

The EPG, favourites and planner all work fine.

I rang sky and they want to charge £65 for sending an engineer out to "fix" the problem, checking the system setup reveals no problem (signal strength / lock all ok).

What are my options? A friend said it could be the LNB, but I don't know which one i should replace it with if I do. Should I get a new box off the bay?

The box I have now is a Grundig (that's all I can see on it).

Suggestions please.

I did a search, and found your thread cyKey, but I have different symptoms. I guess the answer is probably the same tho.

Grundig as well, but it has been like this for a while now.
