Is my stock temp any good before I overclock?

Hi my lovely new Intel Quad core Q9400 is idle at 39c and i tryed a prime 95 torture test and the highest it would hit was 51c full load. Is this ok?

i want to overclock a bit but my ram is only pc2-6400 800mhz.. might hold me back some? any settings you recommend?

Fine temps, RAM should be good to about 3.2Ghz if run 1:1 with cpu, any more then its up to if the ram can go past 400MHz.
