Is my system compatible with Vista 64-bit?

Sorry to repeat other ppl's posts, but I just wanted to make sure Vista 64-bit would run on my system, before I splash out the cash...!

Intel Core Duo 6400, 2.13Ghz
2gigs good memory
Nvidia Geforce 7300

If someone could confirm I'll be ok, it'd much appreciated!

Yes you will be ok, you shouldn't have any problems running Vista.

Just to check, you do mean Core 2 Duo right?

As I think the original Core Duo processors don't support EM64T.

I would think that it is a Core 2 Duo as the model he mentions is the 6400 @ 2.13GHz, there isn't/wasn't a 6400 Core Duo CPU @ 2.13GHz.

Why don't you run this little program and see what it has to say for itself. Assuming you are running 32-bit Operating System.

Yeah, sorry, I did mean Core 2 Duo.
I tried running that little program, but it asked me to install .net Framework, which has annoyed me before by messing up windows!
I know my system can handle Vista, but wasn't sure about 32 vs 64Bit, that's all!

Core 2 Duo processors are all 64-bit capable.
