Is my system under performing?

Out of curiosity, I decided to benchmark my GPU. After noticing lower than expected frame rates whilst playing BF3 (and other high demanding games), I decided to benchmark using 3D Mark 11.

I checked to see what results other people got, after sifting through a couple, I noticed I was being beaten significantly, despite sharing almost identical specs. In some cases, even the 1gb version of my 6950 card could beat my 6950 2GB

If anyone would like to share their own results, as well as giving me a hand if you think something is wrong, any help is strongly appreciated

-8Gb G.Skill Ripjaw X DDR3 1333Mhz Memory

-Western Digital 2TB SATA3 6.0GB/s 64mb Cache Hard Drive

I hope I'm not being naive, but I really think something is wrong... :/

score looks alright to me (from checking the charts, not really familiar with 3dmark11)

maybe the other scores you were checking had 2 cards.
