is my temp too high?

I get the feeling that my cpu is at a higher temp then it should be. could someone please clarify this.
p.s this is my temp without me playing games or anything i think the word im looking for is idle but not sure.

i forgot to mention that i tried installing the scythe ninja and i badly scratched the surface of my cpu reall not sure if makes a difference but thought you should know. and i also made sure that the airflow in my case is good. got a manuel from some site and set my airflow according to that. so im pretty sure its not due to airflow.
