Is my V8 Secure?

I've been a little bit concerned over my V8 since i've had it. Ive been looking at it through the side panel on my case and i swear that its leaning down slighty by about 1-2 degrees and slighty tiled right. I dont know what is causing this because the installation was very easy and its very tight. By which i took off the side panel and actually tried moving the v8 ever so gently and it was rock solid, it wasnt budging.

Just want to make sure my v8 will be secure and if it is bent by a tiny 1-2 degrees tops, will it be safe? will it ripple the board? (even though there are 3 top mobo screws on too holding the mobo down, obviously

) or might it just be the heat pipes on the v8 bending but the block perfectly flat? im overclocked at 3.5Ghz on my 1055T and i never break 45C w/ arctic silver 5 so it seems to be working. It's starting to scare me a bit thats all and i dont want to end up with it seriously damaging the mobo by bending if it is..

Doesn't look like anything to be particularly concerned about. I assume you did all of your screws up to roughly the same tightness?

Yeah, I didn't know how tight you were supposed to screw the v8 on though but I didn't think you would to it as hard as you could, thats why I did it the same as the mobo screws but a little bit stronger. Till it bit, then a bit more, then a teeny bit more than that for safety. I didn't do it as strong as i could go.

Should i tighten it more with a bit of strength or not? i dont want to damage the cpu thats all but it putting me seriously on edge because it seriously looks tilted right a little bit and hanging down 1-2 degrees. Im seirously thinking of selling it and getting the H50 but I don't know anywhere to sell it because i DONT trust ebay.

You should tighten it like your the love child of popeye the sailor and the incredable hulk and youve just ate spinach but ure raging cos u dont like the taste...Nah I tightened mines so that it felt like it wouldnt turn much more but i didnt use excessive force.

Should it be screwed on tighter than you screw your motherboard screws on? when i did the mobo screws where on i tightened them until they bite and then a tiny bit more for safety. Thats what i did with my v8, so i take it the v8 should be on much tighter? i just thought if you tighten the v8 too much it will damage the mobo or the cpu because it will be pressing in too hard?

Nah the way youve said you did it sounds ok to me, however i could be wrong, you dont want to tighten it so it feels like theyd be impossible to remove but you shouldnt realy be able to twist them of by hand either otherwise theres a risk of them gradually coming loose, dont tighten each 1 completley at once either, go round all four bit by bit in a diagonal motion, so do top left srew a bit, then bottom right a bit, then bottom left then top left etc this will ensure they get threaded equally

Ok =/ Does yours seem perfectly straight against the board or does yours seem to hang down a bit too?

I tightened my thermalright true until I could just twist it slightly by hand on the thermal paste interface. The springs on the bolts should not be fully closed up as this could overload the thread. The spring load dictates the bolt tension and hence the compression on the processor.
