Is My VDIMM Voltage Safe?

Is that on the 10th anniversary sticks in your sig? then sorry but they most likely are going to die sooner or later and adding more voltage is just gonna make that sooner...

RAM using D9GMH chips which includes the 10th anni kits has a notorious failure rate... with ever increasing chance of failure the higher you go above ~2.0-2.1v.

They are rated to run at 2.2v. And I beg to disagree about them failing on me cos ive had them since day one and they've ran like a charm to this day!

I had to increase from 2.200v to 2.225v for stability reasons. Help appreciated!
Hey evo4ever32,

I still got my sticks running fine although I have never need to set them higher than 1.9vDimm (DDR2-1066). How have you got the sticks set-up? i.e how come you need 2.2vDimm?

I had 4 stick running at 2.0v and both kits failed, I think if they are going to die they will.

Have a feel of the heatsinks, see if they are hot.
