Hey guys,

I had a friend help me "tweak" some settings last night before some CS2..since enabling Max Performance etc..my GPU doesnt seem to down / up clock now? Its fixed at max, the fans are now spinning but keeping the GPU cool in the high 20's..

Is this OK to run like this, it did help a lot with the stutters in CS2 I must say..

I'd be tempted to not mess around with and restore defaults. I'm not saying that temp is bad as it's a good temp. Only a bit over ambient, but that's just how I feel about it. Your putting extra strain on the fans and no doubt making a lot of noise.

You're probably going to reduce the life of the card too.

i have reset the display options in the NVIDIA control panel, but I cannot get the settings to downclock again?

Any ideas where i should be looking at aswell?

Manage 3D settings its either the low latency on ultra setting or the power management prefer high performance mode that does this.
