Is nothing open today?

All I want to do is go to the library, sit down and revise for my exams! But it seems no library is open today, nor were they open yesterday (due to obvious reasons!!!) :mad:

Grrrrrrrrrrrr, can't wait till Tuesday when everything goes back to normal! :mad:

If you're revising surely you have your notes and books etc. Can't you just revise at home?

some people need complete peace and quite away from distractions. I know a couple of people who couldn't revise at home.

Too many distractions tbh. I'll say to myself i'll have a ten min break and watch the television. It'll go to 20 mins, then an hour, then i'll go on the comp and play games!

The library always works for me!

Have some willpower and that won't happen. Surely you don't begrudge librarians a break over easter as well?

Nope, I won't hold it against the librarians, but, I just can't concentrate at home no matter how hard I try! I know this seems sad but be it homework, coursework, any work it needs to be done in the local library so I get it done properly!

I might just go to the local cafe, order a cup of tea, sip on it for the next 4 hours and do my work!

Never been in the library at uni of glos actually. Nearly had to during easter last year, but found what I needed before I had to go in. Still wouldn't be much worse than the Holloway politics library dept, they didn't order any of the books for the new module I'm doing :mad:

I can never revise or do coursework in my room.. 24/7 Lab access is a lifesaver. I get so much done when I head over there since there aren't any distractions..

My sentiments exactly. I don't like enforced public holidays, I would prefer there to be none, and for us to choose when we have time off. Having a holiday at the same time as most of the rest of the working public is not what I want at all.

I despise all Public Holidays!
