Hi
As I dont feel confident playing about with BIOS settings for voltages/htt + Multipliers/Dividers as it seems to be a recipe for disaster for noobs like me
I have been using NVidia Performance Tuning to get my system to perform
a bit quicker (easy one step way to get stable increase).
3DMark06 + CPU-Z are reporting CPU @ 2992.50 (213.80 X 14) and Memory
timings
Frequency 213.8 Mhz
CAS Latency 2.0 clocks
RAS to CAS 2 clocks
RAS Precharge 2 clocks
Cycle Time (Tras) 5 clocks
Bank Cycle Time (Trc) 11 clocks
DRAM Idle Timer 16 clocks
Command Rate 2T
x1900xt- oc using ATI CCC @ 690/800
Asus Probe is reporting CPU = 40c at idle (48c*)
ATI CCC showing Core = 55c at idle (74c*)
* - after running 3dmark06
What are everyone's thoughts of using NVidia Performance Tuning to increase
settings - is this OK ?
Or should I just read up more to find out how easy it is to join the rest of you experts in tuning system ?
