I have Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60 GHz, and looking at OCCT it says

"CPU Frequency: Current - 1200 | Original - 2600 | Overclock - -%53.8"

Urm, I'm pretty sure that's horrible if I'm getting half the speed I should be, is it possible to overclock my PC?

Hell yeah, got it fixed! My PC is so much faster now, I can't believe I was gaming at that speed all this time.

It seemed my BIOS was for some reason modified, and was at 8x and not 13x, so I restored defaults and it automatically changed to 13x. :)

So thats that sorted. Now should I OC it to more than 13x?

Alright I just changed it to 2.86 GHz.

I'm testing the temperature whilst stressing it for 30 minutes to check stability, I will post results here.

P.S: In BIOS I have an option where it says "Something Mode: [Turbo]" In description it details that if I OCed and want it stable, I should set it to "Standard" There's also an "Extreme" option. Should I do this?

I'm looking to go for 3GHz.

Also, what are normal temperatures of 2 fans whilst being stressed @ 2.86GHz?

And above theres mention of "Increase vcore until they were prime stable" < -- What is this?

Edit: I just OC'd to 3.00Ghz, I tried making the vcore but I got fail boots, so I left it at Auto.

It seems to be 1.2V ~ at 3GHz

I changed the Enhance to "Standard" for more stability. I seem to be getting similiar but lower temperatures from 2.86ghz at 3.0ghz (Most likely because I removed the "Turbo" enhance mode)

Edit2: I'm playing a game right now, seems all smooth. It's very nice actually not lagging for once :)

Avg Temperatures whilst gaming are around 50, Max 60. :)
