... to play Football Manager?

My brother's friend wants a new laptop for the usual word processing, web browsing, and also FM.

Not sure on budget yet, but I assume the cheaper the better.

So I was wondering whether the onboard graphics of an i3/i5 (1st gen) laptop is good enough to play it with decent fps?

Video Card:

128MB**

**Supported Chipsets - Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra or greater; ATI Radeon 9800 or greater; Intel i865G or greater.

Earlier cards may only display 2D Match Viewer Mode and are not supported. Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported.

I don't see a problem. If the graphic card is awful then it'll just run in 2D mode.

And even if that doesn't work, then you can skip the match view and just emulate the numbers can't you?
