currently have an MSI 7950 TFiii v2. I am doing a major overhaul to my computer and I was interested in setting up eyefinity for gaming, but not sure if one of these cards could handle it ?

Main games I play are BF3, EvE, and a bunch of RTS type games if that is relevant.

Depends on the res but I'd say no, BF3 on mine was mostly medium settings with all AA off on 1 card with 6000x1200 to keep it up around 60fps.

With 2 it runs Ultra with AA.

Considering how good BF3 looks even on medium and that res I would say its a job well done for 1 card to pull 60 in BF3.

a single 7950 will do a decent job running 3 screens, however if i was doing eyefinity again i would look at getting 3 22" 1680x1050 monitors, this would be a better res for the gpu to handle plus i think 16.10 ratio looks better than 16.9 over 3 screens

I had an 7970 before with 3 monitors and I replaced with 2x 7950 and it is much better. (3x 1920x1080)

In my opnion you need at least 2 for a good looking and smooth gaming experience.
