Hi,

I've got an X2 4400+. I noticed it didnt overclock very well at all, 220FSB x 11 (2.4Ghz) gave instability.

After downloading Super-PI I tried running 2 instances of it, so 1 would be on each core. Now one of the instances runs through fine, but the other almost immediately comes up with the error;

NOT CONVERGENT IN SQR05

And fails to run. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to test the cores?

total guess but try copying the executable into another folder and run one of each executable, rather than two instances of the same executable.

does that make a difference?

unstable CPU, increase the vCore or lower the MHz.

Super-PI is an entry-level stability test, the only thing lower down the tree is to actually boot Windows XP.
