Is overclocking the FSB safe?

People have thrown around that overclocking the FSB on a sandbridge->haswell CPU can cause damage to you GPU and or HDDs?

I don't really see how it could damage them? Cause crashes, yes, but damage?

Is there any truth to that?

I think your fine,it will only clock upto around 105 bclk anyway

You won't get much wiggle room anyway.

Probably not worth the effort in the long run.
