is overwatch worth £27?

ive already owned the game of the year edition on xbox one for months, but i dont play it much anymore, however im always looking to increase my pc game collection, i cant buy all at once ha, but overwatch is one of the games im looking at, probably for testing systems more than anything, however £27 seems a lot for how old the game is? and ive missed out on an updates/new content.

on cdkeys theres normal, GOTY and legendary all for the same price lol.

If you love the game then its worth it. Me personally I'm too slow in my reactions to play online frag fest games. I'd say Overwatch PC should be less than a tenner now considering how old the game is.

It is good and would probably be worth it to you, but I would have thought it would be around £10-15 given how long it has been out.

But if you enjoy it, go for it!

well id have thought it be that cheap, but for download it clearly isnt

, even on the blizzard website its £20 and their store from the launcher doesnt even work lol. i like the game and might fire up the xbox version to see whats new, but i dont feel its nearly £30 worthy, not when i can get the new hitman 1 + hitman 2 with extras for the same price which i find more worthwhile.

Not if it's just to add to the collection or test your system. What's the point? Seems like a great way to burn money.

I have both ps4 and pc, plays far better on pc especially on ultra wide res

Great game imo and great for quick plays if you just fancy a 30min blast on an evening

As above game is only £17 from the store and cheaper when in sale.

£27 is the price from like 2 years ago.

it wouldnt just be for testing as you see in benchmark videos, i would play it still regardless like my other games it just seemed a daft price and for £27 i pointed out the special editions, but still obviously a lot.

the blizzard store doesnt seem to work for me even if i click on the game from the list and click 'buy', just a blank screen, guess ill just have to keep looking, im assuming its still got quite a big player base?

I don't think you need to worry about the player base, it seems to be similar to League of Legends in regards to staying popular in the eSports scene now.

Yeah you can still get a game anytime day or night, still plenty of people playing and new dlc maps and dlc characters added every couple of months which are all free.

Worth getting for £17, I wouldn't bother paying extra for a special edition as its only cosmetic and after a couple of days playing and you have plenty of skins.

use a different browser if the checkout isn't working

yeah thats true, i noticed on the xbox one when i got the GOTY it was mostly stuff i dont care about or worthwhile, i just couldnt see it for less until you guys pointed it out and the store is working now, but i purchased prison architect last night so that cut in to the OW buy oops, but least its there still for that price ha.

yeah i didnt think there be a problem, i was just curious as ive played games that were very popular years ago to not so much making them pointless.
