The Cell is a number crunching powerhouse but its basic architecture is more suited to servers & supercomputers rather than gaming machines. I highly doubt you'll see a game on the PS3 that takes anywhere near full advantage of the Cell's power.

Heard the same BS excuse with the last fifa as an excuse for terrible graphics. It's utterly nonsensical because nearly everyone I know who has a slow pc has some kind of console to compensate. Therefore the only pc demographic he should be targetting are those of us with decent rigs. But he's a retard so he's not.
