Hey guys, lately i have been getting few of the kernel power BSODs and was wondering may be my system is not being fed enough power.

I used that thermaltake power supply calculator and it seems my system needs 756W of power. Probably did something wrong there but this what i have at the moment:

Asus P6x58D-E mobo
i950 @ 4ghz (cpuvcore 1.352) ( lower than that, a lot more kernel power bsods)
6gb corsair ram with 1.60v @ 1533 Mhz
2x 5850 in xfire but at stock
Eco coolit liquid cooler
3 120mm fans and 200mm fan all max rpm
dvd-rw drive
3 sata, 1 sata II HD at 7200 rpm
usb: keyboard, mouse, printer, gamepad

my psu is new, Corsair TX 750W ATX SLI Compliant

Do i need an upgrade on my psu? Completely uncalled for but if i need it then i guess i have to get a new one. In that case, any recommendations?

Thanks

When I has 2 5850 in crossfire, I was pulling 450w~ with furmark and Prime running and custom water.

Edit: The PSU is plenty, have you tried running mem test on the memory or scaling the overclock back.

I have used windows memory diagnostics which returned no errors but i feel it is kinda not good enough to check memory. I have never ran memtest becasue when i try to download, i get a few version and not sure which one i need to use.

Thanks. I had a faulty memory when i got the sticks and then RMA'd them and got a new stick. I was reading about memtest and it seems this would take a while. Kinda want to do some gaming today so im gonna give that a miss for now :). Any faster way to check ram stability by any chance? :)

When I had faulty memory mem test showed it up in 15 mins ~

@ op, your memory voltage seems a bit on the low side, the majority of tri channel kits need 1.65 vdimm to run.
