Hi,

I was wondering the other day, with 8GB of RAM that I have ... Would ReadyBoost still make any performance difference or not? Because I have spare USB sticks / SD cards etc but didn't want to set them up with readyboost and leave them plugged in if it wasn't going to make any difference

Is it generally for PC's with lower amounts of RAM?

Not at all, don't even think it'd let you set it up with 8GB RAM.
I use Readyboost on my W8 Tablet, that has 2GB RAM, but it doesn't really make any difference at all on that.

Ahhh okay thanks!

Never actually tried to set it up on this PC so like you say it might not even let me

Out of interest, have you got a Surface? Or another W8 tab?
