Is skate 2... laggy??

I loved skate 1, so I bought skate 2 yesterday, and by jove - its a bit laggy!!

This is just on single player aswell - its ruining it for me a bit actually.

Is there anything I can turn off for it to be a bit better? Ive installed it to my hard drive to see if it stops it , but to no avail.

I noticed pretty bad framerate issues on both tbh but no one agreed with me, the PS3 version was the worse.

Never noticed any of this on 360.

Ps3 version is notoriously bad ... but i even noticed a small bit of frame stuttering on the 360 demo. Never bought the full game in the end.
