Its saving a file to my network storage device, which I know from being able to connect to it via usb directly if I disconnect it from the network can do 30MB/sec, however, Im trying to transfer a large file from my pc, to it via my wireless connection (the network storage drive is plugged directly into the router), and my network is giving me a 0.02% utilisation of my 54Mbps bandwidth...wtf is up with that???
Can anyone help me, because this sort of speed is going to absolutely ruin the uses of whats otherwise a very good network storage solution, and considering the speed of the storage device, I find it VERY unlikely it cant maintain at least 30% of a 54Mbits connection!
-edit according to windows connection monitor my signal strength is 3+ at all times, esp when it drops to 36Mbps (thats the lowest it ever goes)
-edit2 When loading an installer from the storage box, the transfer over my network, is never more than 10-15% of the network utilisation either (even during spikes, it seems to max out about 11% utilisation), surely this cant be right!
