Is Steam X64 bit Version Available?

If steam got to the point where it needed to be large address aware, you wouldn't really want to play games with it running...

I'd like to get 64 bit Java working but thats because I often have it using multiple gigabytes

Not sure if 64 bit is going to run any faster but apparently its mostly about the memory

So I vote YES for x64 Steam client.

I already can..

Add a browser with minecraft site as the launch link, works awesome.

It cannot handle it because the Steam client is not x64

It would be useful to have an x64 client.
