I have always been curious how the new Ducati's handle... Such as the 848/1098 models, the new streetfighter and so on.

Now, I have still not got my 748 back from it's engine rebuild and I was thinking, is it wrong to go for a test ride for both testing purposes and also keep that spark for riding in me?

Test away!
I had a new Yamaha dealership open near my workplace and within a week I was out blatting around on the then brand new R6 for the afternoon:D

At the time there was no way I could afford it, but I did go back about a year later and buy one!

Be aware that some ducati places can be snotty and turn down a test ride if they think you have no intention of buying lol :p

at a dealer no not wrong imo. infact surely it is one of the reasons they do test rides. hoping that you fall in love and decide to buy or at the very least spread the word

But if he mentions he already has a 748 and gives the correct funny handshake...
:D

I have learnt 2 3rds of the handshake, so might not be able to pull that off!

lol, cheers guys for the input :)

Will give em a call and see what I can sort out for sunday :D
