Is that pretty much it now for X99 mobos? Apart from the MSI X99 Godlike (which looks absurd with all that red on it, ENTIRELY defeating the point of the LEDs), and the EVGA Micro2 MATX, I haven't seen much upcoming. It all seems to be Z170 boards. Are there likely to be more X99 boards in the near future, perhaps adding Type C USB connectors and other upgrades?

The Asrock X99 EXTREME4/3.1 has Type A and C USB 3.1 on it, available at other stores, one of the cheaper X99 mobos. ;)

Probably limited in what they can do now based on the x99 chipset and commercially it would not make much sense to spend big £££'s when far more people will be buying the latest mainstream platform, z170

There are 2 MATX X99 boards upcoming, the EVGA Micro2 (stunning looking board actually), and the Asus X99M-WS. These are the only 2 new X99 boards I've heard of, besides the MSI Godlike. Z170 would seem to be taking centre stage for the time being, but hopefully that's not entirely at the expensive of anything new on the X99 ATX front.
