Is the 5700x3d going to feel slower outside of games than a 2700x/5700x?

I have been looking at upgrades for my 2700x, just feels a bit sluggish in newer titles like buldars gate 3 and WoW, I know i only have a 2060super right now but soon i will upgrade. So i was looking at a 5700x for a while then the 5700x3d came out which seems to be a good bit better in games but outside of that it seems to be slower than a 5700x. I have read a lot about this chip and some people are saying they feel sluggish when the extra cache cant be utilised so anything outside of gaming really.

My question is will the 5700x3d feel snappier than my current 2700x outside of games? I expect it will feel faster in games but what about web browsing/photo editing etc.

And then would the 5700x feel snappier than the 5700x3d outside of games? I guess it will but is it noticable day to day?

I think the 3d variant is the better idea since it is just such a huge boost in games but you guys will know better i'm sure.

Obvious solution, 5800X3D.

I have the budget for the 5700x3d but not the 5800x3d, it also seems to be a very hot chip which is rather annoying and not THAT much better performance than the 5700 variant.

I ordered a 5800x3d since it was only £20 more than the 5700x3d, will see how it performs when it comes tomorrow. Will prep my Noctua D15, what a cooler, I won it about 15 years ago and its been used on everything since, its unstoppable. Its been on a core2duo e6600, i7 920, xeon x5660, i7 2700x and now the 5800x3d.

For anyone wondering the 5800x3d has made my PC feel like a brand new machine, i was getting 40fps in Valdraken in WoW before, now im getting 140fps on the same settings, thats with a 2060super, i can bump the graphics up now and have the solid 60fps. Just normal usage on the PC feels so snappy. Its a bit of a warm CPU, idle about 35c, during game about 60c and benchmark at 100% is 80c using a D15.
