Is the Acer Predator X34A still king of the hill

I'm looking to replace my 10 year old BenQ FP241W with a X34A. My time on the monitor will mostly be spent gaming (70%) with the rest filled with office/coding work and watching movies. Is this monitor still the one to get from a gaming perspective (it'll be powered by a 1080ti)? Or should I consider something else?
