Hey all,
Finally looking to replace the b450 and pair my 3900x with an x570. However i am restricted to Micro/Mini.
1st question, is the Micro ATX asrock as bad as what ive seen/heard? i.e Buildzoid.. who appears to dislike the VRM's and power phases. . .
If it is as bad as i have heard, this leaves me looking at the following two boards, as below.
Gigabyte Mini ITX

Asus Mini ITX
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...0-chipset-mini-itx-motherboard-mb-6dt-as.html
I guess the 2nd question is, is the the Asus worth extra? Or is this a prime example of asus tax?
i was tempted to go for a decent x470 but being limited to form factor ive decided against it.
im tempted to wait for the b550 but im not sure they will offer much more than my b450 (Msi Mortar) which by all accounts is a good board, i just cant overclock for s*** with it, nor do anything with the memory without it bricking itself, which i believe is more of a bios issue.
Any guidance from you magnificent lot would be appreciated.
