I'd say no personally. The FALD Tech on monitors seems to be far more rubbish than that of TVs, which would be expected given its in its infancy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdMzJHLHB9A ; If I had that on my FALD TV, I'd return it.
At around 13:00, that backlight issue is just unforgivable IMO for such an expensive device. Sure you can disable the FALD, but then whats the point of having it?
To power these monitors towards 200hz will likely take GPU power we don't have yet unless you're in 2080ti SLI territory. I also don't see a tangible advantage over something like a CRG9.
When the AW34 inch model with 120hz natiuve gsync is available for around £700, I think £2700 or £2200 is just really really hard to justify.
However if you're a competitive gamer, then sure, it makes sense (but ultrawiode doesn't). For the price of the higheir end monitors, you can get a normal ultrawide montior AND an LG OLED TV which will give you much much much better HDR performance. For me, personally its an end-game type purchase when you already have the best GPU, best sound, best TV, best speakers, best headphones. The benefits we're paying for at this price point is just a bit meh IMO. I'm sure people will disagree and those that want HDR performance on a montior can ONLY look towards these two sets. If you NEED HDR, 200hz and ultrawide resolution, either of those two are your only choices. Whether you need or want it is your call but is it really worth it? I think the answer is obvious for ANY high end PC component. The answer is relative to your perspective... but no. lol.
