Is the Dell S2721DGF an upgrade from the Gigabyte G27Q?

Hi I wasn't sure if I should post this in the monitors section or the console gaming section so if this is the wrong place I'll delete and post it there.

So I picked up the gigabyte g27q from amazon about two weeks ago for £260 to use with the PS5 and XsX and I'm quite happy with it but I feel like when playing 60fps games (which is the majority of games) its kinda blurry when moving the camera around. Is this down to the high response time at 60hz? Currently playing cyberpunk. Also far cry 5 is pretty bad at 30fps

I have just seen on amazon that the Dell S2721DGF is around £60 more and was wondering if this would be any better? Is it worth returning the gigabyte and getting the dell for the extra money? Or is it not worth the hassle of returning and the extra money.

Would I still have issues with playing 60fps games? Or will it just be a little better?

Only thing I wasn't too sure about is that the dell doesn't downscale 4k to 1440p where as the gigabyte does. Would I have any issues if some of the ps5 games only support 4k and not 1440p so wouldn't be able to downscale (i think i read somewhere that not all ps5 games can run at 1440p). If the game isn't 1440p would I then be playing on 1080?

Sorry if these questions sound stupid but I'm very new to monitors and this is my first. My main TV is a lg oled c2. I decided to get a monitor as my bedroom TV (sony x90j) is too big for the room.

Thank you

Xbox should work fine with 2560x1440, but while Sony finally added resolution, PS5 doesn't support variable refresh rate on it.
So PS5 is still somewhat problematic, no matter the monitor.

As for that Dell, while it has clearly better response times at 60Hz, that LG's 2560x1440 Nano-IPS panel also has substandard contrast.
So you'll need to have normal good room illumination to mask that.

Here are response times in table form and actual measured graphs:

Thank you for the reply. I was literally about to purchase the dell before you replied to try it out.

Do you maybe think it's not worth the extra money and the hassle of a return then seems I already got the gigabyte? Would the Dells better 60hz be that more noticeable?

Is the gigabyte a good enough monitor for console gaming?

Again I know nothing about monitors so the links you posted mean nothing to me (even though I have looked at them a million times over the last few days ). And I don't plan on keeping this monitor for a few years. I'll probably upgrade to a 4k monitor in around a year or so if prices go down anyway
