Is the flash at the top of the main store page a resource hog for you?

If you get a CPU usage chart and load up the front OCUK page does your CPU usage spike up?

If you hover your mouse over the banner (with the 8 different pages) and pause its rolling does your CPU usage drop down to idle levels again?

When it changes it uses up to 15% of my cpu, quite a lot considering I'm running a q6600 @ 3.2ghz

It uses about 4% on average and spikes to 13% when it changes on my PC - but I don't tend to have the main page open much - usually left on whatever product/catagory I was browsing last so doesn't bother me.

You can deffo see when I loaded up the page then closed it down and reloaded it again.

Not on the same core though.

Meh, my cpu is by no means a beast (q9550 4ghz) and even that doesn't even let a little bit of a fart out...

Only 1 core does not = resources anyway
